That's right, here is the sum total of what I know about writing, assembled over years and years (6) of writing. Of course since I'm not a pro, all this knowledge is not a path to success. Take it at your own risk.

These sites have good articles on writing, and better advice than I could provide.
- Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA): This sight is a valuable resource with over a dozen articles on writing tips. Of particular interest will be the Resources pages.
- Locus: This is an industry magazine (SF publishing industry) with articles on what's going on in the world of publishing.
- List of Market Lists: Compiled by the SFWA. This is a list of links to market lists.
- Ralan.com is another market list that's quite handy and as current as you can expect.
- Writer's Digest: A magazine with a good number of helpful articles, published monthly. They also sell a wide variety of books on writing, some of which are more helpful than others.
- Wikipedia is a totally free encyclopedia, but make sure to verify what you read through established sources since anybody can contribute to the content.
- Encyclopedia Britannica: The well-known reference work is available online for you to search. It also provides links to outside sources when you search.
